**The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth North Pinellas

The role you'll contribute:

Implements and supervises physical exercise programs for patients.

The value you'll bring to the team:

Coordinates exercise program including referral proceedings, scheduling, program planning, and exercise supervision to achieve the goals of the department.

Engages in ongoing professional development and promotes a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.

Maintains patient/client safety by explaining and demonstrating correct exercise technique and equipment use, closely supervising all activities and discontinuing patients exercise if the condition warrants.

Meets department productivity standard defined by the department.

Communicates and documents patient information effectively.

Performs and interprets the results of physiological assessment accurately, recognizing high-risk individuals and designing/referring appropriate exercise prescription.

Plans and teaches exercise therapy for patients using test data, patient status, and current medication regimen.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

Bachelor's degree - in exercise science or related field

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
