Your Opportunity
As a Project Manager Assistant, you will support a Project Manager or Program Manager on one or various projects. This role offers exposure to clients, design teams, and project delivery processes, with mentorship from experienced leaders. You’ll gain hands-on experience in project execution while developing the skills to advance your career in a collaborative environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support project delivery in accordance with Stantec’s PM framework and health, safety, and security guidelines.
- Assist senior project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and tracking project milestones.
- Coordinate project documentation including meeting minutes, RFIs, submittals, and change logs.
- Monitor project risks and support mitigation planning.
- Prepare and distribute detailed and summary project reports.
- Facilitate change management processes and maintain document control systems.
- Attend project meetings and record, compose, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Ensure deliverables meet client standards and internal procedures.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Oracle, Primavera, or SharePoint is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant project experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:
• Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 72,200.00 - Max Salary $ 104,600.00
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
**Benefits Summary:** Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
