    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Journeyman Painters** for a project located in **Ruther Glenn, VA** . This is a first shift opportunity and **the pay rate is up to $26/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Prepare surfaces; removing old paint, smoothing surfaces, filling nail holes, cracks & joints

    + Prepare area for painting; moving covering/furniture/fixtures, taping & laying down drop clothes

    + Use various techniques; spray paint, airbrush, stencil, roller or brush

    + Inventory paint equipment & supplies

    + Store paint & related chemical properly

    Requirements:

    + 5+ Years related work experience

    + Must demonstrate knowledge of painting techniques and methods

    + Ability to us hand & power tools

    + Ability to lift 100 LBS at one time & 60 LBS for an extended period of time

    + Comfortable working from heights up to 60 feet

    + Must be able to walk, climb, & maintain balance on scaffold, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders
