The Minnesota Veterans Home - Minneapolis is looking for a **part-time (40 hours per two weeks)** Speech Pathology Clinician. This position exists to meet speech, hearing and rehabilitation services to residents so that maximum functioning can be achieved and maintained.

Minimum Qualifications
Current Minnesota licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
AND
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology or closely related field,
AND
3 years of professional experience providing speech-language pathology assessment and treatment services to individuals with communication disorders which demonstrates the following experience:
- Identifying communication needs through observation, interviews, formal and informal assessment
- Collaborating with community support providers
- Developing treatment plans
Preferred Qualifications
+ Two years of experience as a Speech Pathology Clinician working in a long-term care environment.

This position also requires successful completion of the following:
+ Employment reference checks will be conducted on finalists. This may include a review of documentation related to job performance and contact with the applicant's former employer(s).
+ A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) is required prior to employment.
+ A Minnesota Department of Human Services (OHS) background check will be conducted on finalists for this position. Finalists must pass the DHS background check.
