Position Summary...
Sam’s Club is looking for a Director, Creative who thrives at the intersection of experiential design and retail innovation. This role isn’t just about producing assets—it’s about creating immersive brand experiences that resonate with millions of members. You’ll lead creative strategies for evergreen campaigns, in-club events, and experiential activations, ensuring every touchpoint—from price cards to digital content—enhances the member journey and drives measurable impact.

What You’ll Do
• Lead Experiential Creative Strategy: Within your first 6 months, design and execute creative strategies for highly experiential brands and events that elevate the in-club experience and strengthen member engagement.
• Deliver Evergreen Campaign Excellence: Oversee creative development for evergreen programs, promotions, and price card executions, ensuring consistency and innovation across all channels.
• Innovate Across Member Experience: Introduce scalable creative solutions that go beyond communication—impacting how members interact with the brand in physical and digital spaces.
• Drive Agency Agility: Navigate evolving agency relationships and leverage internal/external resources to deliver high-quality creative at scale, reducing dependency risks and improving speed-to-market.
• Champion Retail-Centric Design: Apply retail insights to creative strategies, ensuring campaigns resonate in a fast-paced, omni-channel environment.
• Mentor and Grow Talent: Build and coach a high-performing creative team with expertise in experiential and retail design, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate for Impact: Partner with Marketing Strategy, Category Management, and external agencies to deliver cohesive, experiential creative solutions that align with Sam’s Club’s vision.

• Innovation Mindset: Passion for pushing creative boundaries and leveraging emerging trends to enhance experiential design.
• Leadership Skills: Track record of building and mentoring creative teams to deliver exceptional results.
• Collaborative Approach: Ability to influence and partner across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 7 years' experience leading creative teams OR 9 years' experience leading creative teams.
