Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary contact for new contract requests from business owners
+ Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to achieve favorable and compliant outcomes
+ Guide business owners through the full contracting process—from request to final execution
+ Partner with departments such as Third Party Risk Management, IT Demand Management, Clinical Variation Reduction, Legal, Insurance, Finance, and the Group Purchasing Organization to assess and limit contractual risk
+ Ensure contracts meet internal policy, regulatory, and operational requirements
+ Maintain accurate documentation and tracking within Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems
Qualifications
+ Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree required in Business Management, Supply Chain, Law, Political Science, Economics, or related field
Experience:
+ At least three (3) years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, required
+ Experience in healthcare or a highly regulated environment, preferred
Licensure/Certification:
+ Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), preferred
Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong negotiation and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
+ Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CLM applications
+ Demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to managing risk
