Procurement Manager - Capital

Reporting to the Procurement Director, you'll lead capital procurement sourcing initiatives for equipment, construction, and engineering services for assigned operational platforms in North America. This area represents approximately $450MM in purchasing across the ConAgra Brands' organization. You'll lead the sourcing, negotiation and contracting to support the annual capital investment plan for several manufacturing plants, including management of many construction contractors, engineering firms and equipment suppliers. Maintain relationships with suppliers for materials/services to include negotiation and enforcement of contract while maintaining high performance standards of delivery, quality expectations, and corrective actions. Responsibilities:
+ Lead sourcing, selection, negotiation and contracting on capital projects including contract and PO creation and management.
+ Collaborate in cross functional teams with engineering, project management, operations and other internal stakeholders
+ Follow procurement policies and procedures
+ Draft Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and conduct associated analysis.
+ Provide innovative/alternative sourcing and supplier options/recommendations to meet financial budget requirements
+ Establish and lead supplier relationship management initiatives with the capital supply base to improve supplier performance, guide innovation and reduce costs.
+ Research market dynamics, cost drivers, supplier business models, and historical spend to enhance future negotiations
+ Resolve supplier and internal customer issues to ensure successful project delivery
+ Manage supplier relationships and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to evaluate and report performance
+ Ensure continuity of services by working with high quality suppliers and managing supplier performance.
+ Develop and maintain positive, productive, proactive relationships with a wide variety of suppliers, contractors and company personnel
+ Provide procurement expertise to engineering, operations, and other internal stakeholders
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ 7+ yrs experience in procurement or related field
+ Background in construction and equipment procurement
+ Contract law knowledge, with experience analyzing statements of work, engineering drawings and specifications
+ Experience negotiating large purchases and complex technical specifications
+ Manage large competitions and single source acquisitions
+ Independently manage multiple priorities, complex projects, and tasks
+ Ensure proper procurement processes, requirements, and procedures are followed to mitigate risk to the corporation
+ Proactive approach within assigned area
+ Analytical skills
+ Excel - Intermediate level and ERP systems (SAP)
+ In the office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday

Compensation:
Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
