    SUMMARY

    The Director of Clinical Services plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the coordination, oversight, and delivery of person-centered clinical services that support the overall health and well-being of individuals served by Marrakech, Inc. This position provides direct supervision to ancillary service departments and behavioral health teams, ensuring that all services are integrated, high-quality, and aligned with individual needs and organizational standards.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Clinical Oversight & Program Leadership:

    + Provide oversight to ancillary clinical services, including but not limited to: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Dietary/Nutrition, and Counseling Services.

    + Ensure clinical services are integrated into person-centered planning and align with best practices.

    + Participate in case conference (rounds meetings), with all appropriate disciplines to ensure the individual’s needs are met holistically.

    + Serve as a backup instructor for Marrakech’s internal Medication Administration Course, Medical Awareness, OSHA, and other training related to clinical services.

    + Ensures LOTUS employees have all necessary access to all needed files and information, schedules for all meetings/ PRC/HRC/URR for individuals assigned. Review reports and information in LOTUS files to ensure current reports/plans are completed. Follow-up on all concerns with LOTUS and Marrakech Management.

    + Completes monthly supervision meetings with all Behavior Technicians and Behavior Support Professionals.

    + Assists all Behavior Support Professionals to obtain DDS credentialing.

    + Assists Behavior Technicians to obtain RBT licensure if the BT qualifies for RBT consideration.

     

    Regulatory & Quality Assurance

     

    + Serve as the coordinator for all DDS-related clinical review processes, including the Program Review Committee (PRC), Human Rights Committee (HRC), and Utilization Review & Resource (URR).

     

    Contract & Vendor Management

     

    + Oversee contracts related to behavioral and ancillary clinical services.

    + Monitor vendor performance, ensure contractual obligations are met, and evaluate service effectiveness and satisfaction.

    + Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiations, and renewal processes in collaboration with the Chief Clinical Officer.

     

    Interdisciplinary Collaboration

     

    + Work closely with residential, day, and compliance teams to ensure clinical recommendations are implemented effectively and consistently.

    + Participate in high-risk case reviews, behavioral emergency debriefings, and internal investigations as needed.

    PRC/HRC/URR:

    + Coordinate all facets of the Internal Human Rights Committee and External HRC/PRC information for all DDS individuals. Will review all HRC/PPRC packets prior to them being sent. Will keep a spreadsheet for the agency and contact the managers prior to return for all External HRC/Internal HRC.

    + Will review all URR packets to assure that all packets are completed on time and are accurate prior to being mailed. Will assure all qualifications and suggestions are completed.

    + Completes graphs, charts, etc., for the Program Review Committee and Human Rights Committees.

    Psych Clinic:

    + Coordinates the annual appointment calendar for Psych Clinics; sends email reminders to teams concerning monthly appointments or any schedule changes.

    Other Duties

    + Operates motor vehicles safely and in accordance with State Law (agency and personal automobiles) while on work related duties. Will be required to drive own vehicle for work.

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or human services field (e.g., nursing, social work, psychology, public health) required. Minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership experience. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in developing and implementing behavior modification programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Experience with behavioral health services and ancillary care coordination preferred. Ongoing professional development required, including completion of at least five (5) continuing education credits annually in nursing or a related field.

    SALARY

    + $70,000/yr, rate increases to $75,000/yr after 6 month introductory period.
