The Logistics Coordinator provides strategic support to our operations, shipping and sales teams. Processes load(s) by entering them into the Transportation Management program and oversees the full life cycle of the load(s).

Key Job Elements:

• Enters load into the Transportation Management Program and books with carriers.

• Processes the loads from beginning to end. From Booking and building the load to delivering it out and doing any problem resolution.

• Monitors loads in process and communicates with internal customers.

• Assists internal customers and carriers with shipping paperwork and any other questions on the load.

• Communicate with various other departments as needed.

• Identifies and solves problems or

• Other job duties assigned from within department.

Qualifications and Experience:

REQUIRED:

• Customer service background in logistics or planning with ability to build a relationship with internal customers and handle problem resolution in a timely manner;

• Ability to adapt and work in a fast paced, high work volume environment with requirements for overtime based on business demands.

PREFERRED:

• Experience in load planning or logistics in general;

• Prior experience in a customer service role supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment;

• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project.
