Job Summary and Qualifications

PRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Handles inquiry calls and directs calls appropriately

• Collects insurance and referral information

• Coordinates transfers from other hospitals

• Accurately maintains files, logs and reports as requested or required

• Monitors and evaluates quality and appropriateness of the Call Center interventions

• Monitors the overall functioning of the Intake department

• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures

• Performs other duties as requested or required

• Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct

• Conduct reflects the Company’s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences field OR 4 years experience in the mental health field.

Prefer at least one year’s admissions experience

Current BLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross and SAMA certification or attainment during the orientation period within 30 days of hire.
