    **BayCare’s Madonna Ptak Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center** , a 5-star CMS-rated facility, is seeking a dedicated **Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)** with experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) to join our interdisciplinary rehab team. The PTA will assist in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury in a post-acute inpatient setting.

    Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:

    + Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist to improve patients’ mobility, strength, and functional independence.

    + Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use of assistive devices under PT supervision.

    + Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.

    + Document treatments and patient responses in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

    + Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques to support continued recovery.

    + Collaborate with nursing staff and other rehab professionals to ensure coordinated care.

    + Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

    **Requirements** :

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)

    + Or PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Temporary and licensure within 6 months

    + Required Associate's Physical Therapy

    + Preferred 1 year Physical Therapy Assistant
