Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

+ Collaborates with all Emergency Department staff to ensure proper patient placement and facilitate patient movement throughout the department.

+ Coordinates transfers for patients being admitted from the ED in collaboration with the Nursing Supervisor.

+ Coordinates staffing resources to facilitate schedule flow. Assesses staff capabilities, patient acuity, and scheduling needs to make staffing assignments.

+ Makes recommendations to leadership to enhance current processes or create new practices to better serve customers, staff, and hospital system.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

+ PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

+ (RN) Registered Nurse
