    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    The Radiology Digital Product Strategist (aka Digital Product Analyst II) plays a critical role in supporting the Radiology Optimization Pod and the broader Clinical AI domain by translating clinical and operational needs into actionable requirements, conducting discovery analyses, and producing communication and decision-support materials. This role involves gathering, organizing, and interpreting data to evaluate radiology workflow performance, vendor platforms, and AI-enabled use cases that can improve diagnostic efficiency, reduce variability, and support scalable enterprise deployment.

     

    In collaboration with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams, the Product Strategist provides actionable insights that shape the product development lifecycle and advance HCA’s Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) mission: bringing innovative technology solutions to the clinical and administrative frontline to improve patient outcomes, empower clinicians with insights, and drive greater efficiency.

In this role you will be responsible for innovating our care team processes, making them more intelligent, impactful, and efficient. In so doing, you will help our clinicians provide the best care possible and have a better experience in their work.

    What you will do in this role:

    Product Development Support

    + Collect and document radiology workflow and business requirements, translating them into user stories and technical requirements

    + Support discovery activities, including workflow shadowing, radiologist and ED leader interviews, and documentation of variability in turnaround times and escalation practices

    + Define detailed key results to support pod objectives; perform analyses as needed for OKR measurement, particularly before data pipelines have been set up

    + Contribute to AI vendor analysis (e.g., Aidoc, Viz.ai, others), including comparative assessments of functionality, integration feasibility, and workflow fit

    + Support product owner in day-to-day tasks, particularly around sprint management

    + Assist with material collation and analysis in preparation for product demos, quarterly business reviews, and other report-outs for the pod

    + Work with Product Owner to develop Objectives and Key Results; define measurement strategies for key results (e.g., how to collect data, source system identification) and set measurement methodology

    + Work with other Data Engineers or other pod members to create data pipelines and analyses to measure key results automatically

    + Develop data dictionaries, baseline metric packs, and site-level variation analyses focused on scan-to-sign turnaround time, LOS impact, and escalation delays

    + Assist in drafting the Radiology Optimization Discovery Report, value logic framework, and pilot recommendation packages

    Cross-functional Collaboration

    + Work with experience / UX designer to codify business processes and identify areas for improvement

    + Work with experience / UX designer to reflect user acceptance criteria in user stories

    + Engage radiologists, PACS administrators, ED leadership, vendor partners, and facility executives to ensure broad stakeholder input

    + Partner with Finance, Data & Reporting, and Corporate Development teams to align economic and operational analyses with decision-quality standards

    + Work with adoption teams and process/experience designer to translate user feedback into feature specifications

    + Work with change management personnel to define change management strategies; work with adoption and scaling teams to help coordinate scaling

    Analysis and Reporting

    + Collect, analyze, and interpret radiology performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities

    + Quantify correlations between workflow variation (e.g., long turnaround times, delayed escalation) and downstream patient safety or capacity impacts

    + Assist with material collation and analysis in preparation for product demos, quarterly business reviews, and other report-outs for the pod

    + Use statistical tools and data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders

    + Create comprehensive documentation and presentation materials (including process flows, product feature details, and user guides or explanations)

    + Collect, analyze, and interpret product performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement

    + Develop dashboards, reports, and presentation materials for leadership updates, QBR sessions, and steering committees

    + Maintain a library of radiology optimization metrics, ROI models, and vendor performance insights to support scaling decisions

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, or related field - Required

    + Master's degree in a relevant field - Preferred

    + 3+ years’ experience in healthcare analytics, digital health, or clinical operations support, with specific exposure to radiology workflows, imaging systems (PACS), or diagnostic AI tools - Required

    + Experience in workflow analysis, clinical operations benchmarking, or ROI/business case modeling in healthcare - Preferred

    + Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) and ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams - Preferred

    + Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

    Licenses, Certifications, & Training:

    + Certification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related fields - Preferred

    + Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies - Preferred

    + Training or experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, or clinical informatics - Preferred

    Work Location/Schedule:

    + Nashville, TN area (near Centennial Park)

    + Onsite: M-F, 8am – 5pm

    Travel Required:

    + Occasional Travel: The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis.
