    Job Summary and Qualifications

    JOB SUMMARY

    Mobile Heartbeat is transitioning its platform and software from an on-premises solution to one that is delivered via multi-tenant public cloud. This role ensures that our deployments to the cloud are properly deployed, optimized, and managed. The role works directly with a range of other technical and customer-facing teams.

     

    The Site Reliability Engineer works with all our cloud products. A combination of relevant knowledge, technical aptitude, analytical ability, problem solving skills, and excellent communication are critical to success in this role.

     

    As the transition to cloud operations evolves, we anticipate opportunities for growth and expansion for the candidate that is interested, willing, and able to embrace the opportunity.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    + **Ensure system uptime through research, development, and creation of monitoring tools for use by the Operations Team. Create and support SLOs/SLAs.**

    + **Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation through automation workflows to prevent recurrence.**

    + **Work closely with IT Operations, DevOps, and Engineering to ensure that systems are properly secured with appropriate controls, as well as properly monitored for security threats.**

    + **Build, improve, maintain, and support infrastructure as code.**

    + **Build, improve, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines.**

    + **Contribute to development of operational automation and self-service frameworks.**

    + **Contribute to continuous adoption and improvement of SRE methodology.**

    + · **Create, manage, and maintain comprehensive documentation covering cloud deployments, and process-oriented solutions.**

    WORK EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

    + **8-10+ Years of experience in a similar Site Reliability/Enterprise Systems Management role.**

    + **A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field – or equivalent**

    + **Strong experience with enterprise, multi-tenant software deployments preferably through the cloud, specifically Microsoft Azure.**

    + **Strong experience with enterprise Databases, specifically MongoDB.**

    + **Strong experience in meeting regulatory compliance, preferably healthcare (HIPAA, etc.)**

    + **Possess understanding of end-to-end Enterprise Architecture including Networking, Operating Systems, Databases, Applications, etc.**

    + **Experience coding automated solutions to mitigate persistent issues.**
