*This vacancy is only open to 1) current permanent Parks employees serving in the Administrative Staff Analyst civil service title or 2) on leave from the title or 3) permanent Parks employees in or on leave from a comparable title (e.g. Administrative Community Relations Specialist or Administrative Manager), or 4) Parks employees who are reachable on the Administrative Staff Analyst civil service list or a comparable civil service list or qualify for a comparable title. Major Responsibilities
- Under direction of the Deputy Chief of Human Resources, with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment, perform difficult and responsible supervisory and analytic functions for the Recruitment Unit.
- Oversee the creation, editing and distribution of postings and interview matrixes.
- Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment plans. Promote job opportunities at NYC Parks at community and school career fairs. Review data and metrics for recruitment.
- Conduct and manage Structured Interview trainings for panel members and posting liaisons.
- Serve as a liaison to other divisions throughout the Agency.
- Provide input on policies and procedures and maintain them.
- Resolve problems, recommend improvements and respond to inquiries.
- Manage special projects and assignments.

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF ANALYST ( - 1002A
Qualifications
1. A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area. 18 months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory capacity. Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of professional experience in the areas described in "1" above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory experience, as described in "1" above.

Salary Min: $105,000.00
Salary Max: $115,000.00
