    Description

    Integrated Power Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Designer/Drafter to support the development of electromechanical motors and related components. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating precise technical drawings and 3D models for motor housings, stators, rotors, windings, and assemblies, working closely with engineering teams to bring motor designs from concept to production.

    Responsibilities & Expectations:

    Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks, including:

    + Replacement parts and assemblies for repair and service

    + Tools and process improvement initiatives

    + Modifications and design enhancements

     

    Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers throughout design iterations to ensure manufacturability and functionality.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    + Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related technical field

    + 2-5 years of experience in drafting or design, preferably with electromechanical systems or motors

    + Proficient in CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD

    + Solid understanding of electromechanical motor components (e.g., stators, rotors, shafts, bearings, windings)

    + Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and die casting

    + Experience with PDM/PLM systems, such as SolidWorks PDM

    + Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
