    Job Description

    Cybersecurity Incident Response Engineer is a technically adept professional with a passion for digital forensics, attack analysis, and collaborative problem-solving. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to operate at the forefront of information security, driving innovation and excellence in incident response.

    Responsibilities

    + Serve as Subject Matter Expert during cybersecurity incidents.

    + Perform accurate, in-depth analysis of a wide variety of cyber-attacks and write detailed analysis reports for both technical and executive audiences.

    + Lead Cyber Defense initiatives by providing a deep understanding of how the pieces of a large cyber defense organization fit together.

    + Work collaboratively with the different teams and SME’s within Cyber Defense.

    + Primary and secondary on-call work will be required.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, or equivalent work experience

    + Four or more years of experience in information security

    + Two or more years of experience in Cyber Incident Response

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    + Prior incident response experience

    + Experience with enterprise security tooling and how it all works together.

    + Security Orchestration and Automation

    + SIEM

    + EDR

    + WAF/DDoS

    + Threat Intel Platforms

    + O365/M365 experience is a plus.

    + Deep understanding of cloud attack surface and responding to threats in the cloud.

    + AWS

    + Azure

    + CI/CD

    + Experience performing Malware Reverse Engineering is preferred but not required.

    _The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days._

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
