             Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Summary: Assistant Program Director, Family Medicine Residency MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician to join as Assistant Program Director for its well-established Family Medicine Residency Program. This leadership role involves teaching, mentoring, and supervising residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities: Provide academic leadership by teaching and mentoring residents in inpatient adult medicine and newborn care (OB optional) and outpatient continuity and procedure clinics. Oversee resident performance during clinical rotations. Lead 1–2 program-wide quality improvement projects annually. Deliver 10–12 didactic lectures per year on core Family Medicine topics. Serve as faculty advisor to approximately 5 residents. Participate in program administration, curriculum development, and faculty meetings.
