Supervisor of Assisted Living – The McAuley
_Location: West Hartford, Connecticut_
The McAuley, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is a premier assisted living community that prides itself on fostering a warm, caring environment where residents thrive. We are seeking a **Supervisor of Assisted Living** to join our compassionate and dedicated team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care, in compliance with Connecticut state regulations and Trinity Health’s mission of holistic well-being.
Position Overview
The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing and assisted living services for our residents. This includes managing nursing personnel, coordinating care, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal policies. This role requires 24/7 coverage.
Qualifications:
Licensure & Education:
+ Hold a valid **RN license** in the state of Connecticut
+ Possess one of the following:
+ A **baccalaureate degree in nursing** with at least **two years of full-time clinical experience** , including **one year in home health care or community health** ; or
+ A **diploma or associate’s degree in nursing** with at least **four years of full-time clinical experience** in the past 10 years, including **one year in home health care or community health** .
+ Current CPR certification required.
Experience:
+ Proven supervisory experience, preferably in assisted living, home health, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
+ Experience working with geriatric populations is highly preferred.
