    PURPOSE

    The Support Service Associate is responsible for providing production support to mail and print by managing the incoming and outgoing mail and supporting the graphic quality printing for internal and external clients. The Associate provides general business support to the institution's students, faculty, and staff. The Associate will assist with the Passport Acceptance Program and Parking programs for TAMU-CC.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Functional Area 1: Operations

     

    Percent Effort: 50%

     

    + Oversee the day-to-day operations of Passport Services.

    + Assist, when needed, with sorting/distributing intercampus mail. Receive, scan, sort, load, and deliver mail. Assist with overseeing student package lockers.

    + Assist with preparing high-volume mail and operates mail meter equipment.

     

    Functional Area: Administrative

     

    Percent Effort: 30%

     

    + Oversee all documents and mail related to Passport Services.

    + Assist with SandDollar ID program, when needed.

    + Assist with Parking Administration, when needed.

     

    Functional Area 3: Support

     

    Percent Effort: 20%

     

    + Monitor stock inventory and place purchase requests for Passport, Mail, SandDollar Services.

    + Assist Delivery Specialist with intercampus mail as needed.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + Two years of related experience with either Passport Services, Mail Services, customer service, or ID management.

    + Intermediate skills in computers and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Ability to work under pressure.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Ability to work irregular hours outside of normal operating hours.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Experience in sign and label printing, fabrication, and application.

     

    SALARY: $15.84 Hourly ($32,947.20 Approximately Annually)
