    The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is part of Boston Children's Hospital, ranked as one of the top children's hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report (https://www.childrenshospital.org/about-us/awards-accolades) . We provide families with individualized treatment plans and access to more specialized care than any other hospital. We offer state-of-the-art, family-centered care for our patients using a team approach with physicians from different specialties, advanced-care providers, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and registered dietitians.

    Key responsibilities:

    + Working in our busy Gastrointestinal clinic caring for infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

    + Receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments.

    + Facilitating patient flow through the clinic.

    + Collecting, verifying and recording required information, obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems.

    + Assisting clinician during examinations; obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, weights, heights and lengths. Collecting specimens.

    + Performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic, including supply inventory, and ordering and auditing clinic supplies and formula.

    + M-F, 730a-4pm, in the Boston clinic, covering GI and Renal.

    Minimum qualifications:

    Education:

    HS diploma or equivalent.

    Experience:

    1 year of Clinical Assistant experience requiredPediatrics experience preferred.
