Summary The Assistant Project Manager will work alongside the Lead PM to assist with the coordination of mission critical data center project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of projects. This individual will need to be organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams at once. They need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and ensure projects are executed in alignment with goals and deliverables defined by the client. The APM has strong project management skills, is a forward and creative thinker, has a sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize, and is an efficient and effective member of the Project Management team. Key Responsibilities: * Provides supporting role on large project delivery teams (external contractors, architects, client internal teams and vendors) from project initiation through planning, design, construction and financial close out. Providing guidance and direction to achieve project goals. May perform lead project management role on small and/or limited complexity client initiatives. * Maintain and/or assist with development and management of schedule, budget and risk. * Assist in the development of written status reports. * Maintain meeting minutes and coordinate aspects of project administration to ensure project stakeholders and project team members are informed. * Responsible for assisting and/or managing the resolution of project issues and risks to include evaluation of quality, costs, and development of action plans to address any deficiencies throughout the project, aligned to project scope and complexity. * Assess and/or assist with assessing change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk with management support. * Demonstrate capability to read and understand project documents including but not limited to lease work letters, contracts, construction drawings, and vendor proposals. * Conduct onsite field audits before, during and after completion of project. Present as representative of project team for on-site meetings, as required. * Actively support the internal team that focuses on business development. * Represents the company through outstanding project delivery, client service, process improvements and support. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) preferred though not required. * Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in real estate project management, corporate/commercial design and construction, facilities management, or real estate project coordination. * Proficiency in MS Office Suite. * Strong verbal and written communication skills; Role requires daily communication with client and team members * Requires organization, time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills through all projects. * Must be able to review construction documents for accuracy.
