    Job Description:

    The Office of Research Security and Ethics is seeking an Export Control Specialist to support the university’s export control program. This role involves assisting with compliance under the Export Administration Regulations ( EAR ), International Traffic in Arms Regulations ( ITAR ), and Office of Foreign Assets Control ( OFAC ).

     

    The Specialist will assist with preliminary export control reviews, support classification and licensing determinations, and help evaluate research proposals, agreements, international travel, visitors, and shipments for export control concerns.

     

    Additional responsibilities include helping monitor technology control plans and supporting the development of compliance resources. Training in export control compliance will be provided.
