Position Purpose: This intern will support the efforts of the pharmacy prior operations department in the coordination and execution of the health plan’s pharmacy program.
This role will allow you to work fully remote in the US. Please submit your resume and a cover letter.
Duties include:
+ Creation of decision tools, which requires working knowledge of formulary maintenance, literature evaluation, and expertise on company and state/national compliance requirements by line of business and health plan
+ Manage configuration of decision tools via coordinated projects
+ Perform quality review via user acceptance testing of decision tools in proprietary systems
+ Track and trend performance of decision tools using data analytics to identify utilization patterns, assess user experience, and implement solutions for improvement
Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed. Must be enrolled in a pharmacy graduate program at an accredited university or college throughout the internship period. **_You must be_** **_available to work for 12 weeks between May-August._
Pay Range: $21-30/hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
