    **Summary:** Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products and finished goods by performing the following duties.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    In absence of Profile Planning Supervisor, Profile Planner 2 must be able to create master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

     

    Worked in Profile planner 1 position for minimum of 2 years.

     

    Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.

     

    Plan and schedule daily workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

     

    Plan and schedule daily workflow of Finished Goods Department (FBZ & DF parts planning)

     

    Confer with department manager or supervisor to determine status of daily schedules.

     

    Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

     

    Prepare reports and data for presenting at production planning meeting.

     

    Prepare daily schedules based on optimum capacity.
