    Coordinate all aspects of facility goals and objectives in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). Will report to the North America EHS Manger and work with their team members on a regular basis. In matters of EHS, will be directly responsible for successful implementation of EHS programs and procedures.

     

    Develop and support programs and procedures to meet facility objectives and targets in EHS. Key focus points include:

     

    + Accident Prevention

    + EHS Regulatory Compliance

    + Support Global Climate Action and Carbon Neutral Operations

    + Provide customer inquiry support and correspondence.

    + Waste Minimization

    + EHS Management Systems (Gensuite) Collaborate with the Team on documenting and developing EHS Training.

    + Support and manage corrective actions from Regulatory Agencies and Corporate EHS audits.

    + On site contact for Corporate EHS Department and under corporate direction manage EPA actions such as, but not limited to, NOV’s, cleanups and complaints.

    + On site contact for Corporate EHS Department and under their direction manage OSHA actions such as, but not limited to, inspections, letters of noncompliance and informal conferences.

    + Coordinate applicable EHS reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.

    + Maintain necessary EHS records.

    + Ensure compliance with Corporate EHS Policy and Directives.

    + Attend and Support ISO 14000 related meetings (in Hudson).

    + Support customer EHS requirements (i.e. IMDS).

    + Report directly to division management and at staff meetings on EHS matters.

    + Ensure new employees at the facility complete EHS On-boarding and DOJO Training and document completion.

    + Attend Ongoing EHS HPT Meetings, focus on supporting LEAN agendas.

    + Maintain Air Emissions inventory records for EPA reporting.

    + Support and integrate EHS into Lean, HR, and Supply Chain efforts.

    • BS Degree in a technical field required, preferably EHS.

    • Must be a U.S Citizen or a U.S permanent resident.

    • A strong working knowledge of EHS regulations is preferred.

    • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

    • Experience in Ergonomics and Behavior Based Safety a plus.

    • 0-2 years of applicable experience required.

    • Must be able to work independently.

    • Excellent communication and computer skills.

    • Creative ability in insuring safety of employees, the environment while meeting the needs of production.

    • Ability to plan and implement EHS programs.

    • Strong presentation skills.

    • Ability to work effectively with management as well as with associates from the floor.

    • Must be able to travel and work out of the office.

     

    This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

     

    Competitive Compensation

     

    + Pay Range: $69500 to $115000 annually

    + Participation in Annual Incentive Program
