What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or guests at the front desk while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges according to site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity and security-related incidents.

+ Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.

+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including providing information and guidance to building occupants.

+ Follow all site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
