As a **Security Officer - Aero/Defense Dispatch Desk** in **Savannah, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities from a central command post. Your responsibilities will include managing communications, supporting access control, and assisting with incident response to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while utilizing technology to support daily operations. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Operate as a central communication point for security-related activities at the location, dispatching personnel as needed.

+ Monitor and respond to incoming calls, alarms, and radio communications in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Document incidents, dispatch activity, and critical situations accurately and promptly.

+ Coordinate with on-site personnel to relay important information and support emergency response activities as required.

+ Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related operations.

+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from employees, visitors, and/or contractors.

+ Support Allied Universal and client management by maintaining clear and professional communication at all times.

+ Assist in monitoring access control systems and/or surveillance equipment as required by site protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.

+ Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess experience with access control and/or badge systems (preferred).

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
