Position Purpose:

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the safety and security operations of a facility or organization. They manage a team of security personnel, ensure compliance with safety protocols, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to incidents or emergencies. Their role includes conducting regular

inspections, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary, and maintaining detailed reports on security activities. They also play a key part in training staff, enforcing access control, and implementing security policies to protect people, property, and information.

Major Functional Responsibilities:

+ Work closely with security team to manage production, staffing, performance, schedules, and cleanliness levels.

+ Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the department.

+ Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors.

+ Assist with investigations of theft, accidents, and employee issues.

+ Conduct regular walk-throughs and security inspections.

+ Prepare and conduct training for new hires.

+ Effectively lead and delegate to department associates.

+ Coordinate and effectively communicate daily with security team.

+ Contribute to continuous improvement process.

+ Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.

+ Complies with all policies and standards

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Work Experience:

• 1 - 3 Years Loss Prevention, and/or Security Management experience
