    Position Details:

    + **Compensation:** $80k-$100k base salary, depending on experience, plus bonus potential based on KPIs!

    + **Work Schedule:** Monday-Friday, normal business hours

    + **Location:** This is an in-office/hybrid position with travel to the local OpCo, based on business needs which is located at our Boston OpCo, 355 Main Street, Whitinsville, MA 01588

    Position Purpose:

    The Sales Strategy & Operations Manager will develop and execute pricing strategies, optimize sales program execution, provide data-driven insights to increase sales team productivity and revenue, and assist in other sales related tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for operational excellence, and a collaborative mindset.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Pricing Strategy & Margin Optimization

    + Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies, including setting and maintaining standards for new and existing items.

    + Identify margin improvement opportunities through analysis of pricing and cost structures.

    + Monitor category-level pricing to meet profit and growth targets.

    + Review weekly margin reports at customer and item levels to ensure accurate gross profit and identify missed opportunities.

    + Evaluate earned income usage to support pricing decisions and growth initiatives.

    + Conduct ad hoc analyses to assess the impact of pricing on sales, margins, and investment (e.g., discounts, exceptions).

    Program Execution & Sales Support

    + Ensure effective execution and compliance with sales programs (e.g., category optimization, smart stock).

    + Collaborate with Sales on contracts, agreements, rebates, and pricing issues.

    + Partner with Sales and Purchasing to provide insights and support strategic decisions.

    + Assess the financial impact of promotions, rebates, and pricing adjustments.

    Sales Analytics & Reporting

    + Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and financial models to track sales and margin KPIs.

    + Drive improvements in pricing strategy, forecasting, and analytics.

    + Analyze customer and product profitability using advanced analytical tools.

    + Prepare detailed presentations and reports to communicate insights across the organization.

    + Support Sales productivity through performance metric development and reporting.

    + Track year-over-year performance and run rates aligned with company goals.

    + Generate and maintain tracking reports (e.g., commissions, promotions, rankings).

    + Provide weekly sales and ranking reports to Sales leadership.

    Administrative & Event Support

    + Assist in planning and execution of sales meetings and trade shows.

    + Prepare and distribute promotional materials and reports.

    + Attend and support sales manager meetings and events as needed.

    + Manage Point-of-Sale (POS) materials and flyer distribution.

    + Participate in special projects and other related activities as assigned.

    Desired Skills:

    + Detail oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing barriers

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.

    + Strong collaboration with leaders to influence strategy and inform our evolving price position, performance, margin rates and margin investment

    + Quick learner to new technologies and methodologies.

    + Strong analytical skills with mastery in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, etc.).

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a related field.

    • Prior experience supporting B2B sales operations is required.

    • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to guide teams and drive results.

    • Experience in the foodservice, convenience store (c-store), consumer packaged goods (CPG), or a closely related industry is required.
