             Local in-state route, home every night Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 am - 11:30 pm – 2nd shift, 8-hour shift SUMMARY Transport materials and mail between Data-Mail Facilities and designated vendors ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Drive Class A and B vehicles, Company Vans and pick ups, Standard and Automated Transmission, operating up to & including 53’ dry vans + Load and unload materials/mail using fork truck and electric ride on hand trucks. + Keep accurate driving log records: manually and electronic logs + Maintain effective communication with Supervisors regarding loads at both facilities. + Serve as yard jockey in multiple Newington and Windsor Plants + Processing, scanning and securing materials for each load in safe and efficient manner. Ability to process materials for inventory use and locate materials in rack warehouse system, using barcode functionality. + Keep work areas neat and clean, including all company vehicles. + Comply with company rules and regulations. + Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data. + Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department. + Keep manager/supervisor informed of situations that will affect the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives. + Flexibility to perform various warehouse related duties, as required, to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE + High school diploma or GED plus 1-2 years’ experience in operating multiple style forklift. + CDL Class A license is required w/ at least 1 year on the job experience + Operation of both Standard and Automatic transmissions a must + Knowledge of State Of Ct DOT Regulations COMPETENCIES + Good communication skills, both verbal and written + Computer Experience w/ barcoding + Good/clean driving record. + Team Player
