Description
The Amazon Community Impact Education team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative Sr. Product Manager to lead our Career Tours Distribution and Customer Experience strategy. This position supports Amazon's education efforts globally and is based in Seattle, WA (https://www.aboutamazon.com/impact/community).
Amazon Career Tours (https://www.amazonfutureengineer.com/careertours) are free, interactive, virtual field trips that inspire students to pursue careers of the future by exploring Amazon’s technologies, helping students envision their future career possibilities.
We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager who can drive strategic partnerships with educational content providers, own our customer-facing experiences, and scale our reach to underserved students in the U.S. In this role, you will determine the optimal distribution channels for our Career Tours and other Amazon Community Impact Education products, build and manage strategic partnerships with educational products, and own the entire customer experience journey. You will develop data-driven strategies to increase program reach while improving educator and student experiences.
Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Distribution & Partnership Development: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to scale Career Tours products across the United States. Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic relationships with distribution channels with high reach of underserved students and schools
- Customer Experience Ownership: Own the customer journey for how educators and students discover, access and interact with Career Tours, including the program website, distribution channel and customer experiences. Develop mechanisms to continuously improve customer experience and satisfaction for all educators and students.
- Data & Analytics Leadership: Work with the data team to establish data exchange protocols with distribution partners, analyze performance metrics across channels, and drive decisions based on reach, engagement, and impact. Create reporting mechanisms to track progress against targets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product team, data team, marketing teams, and distribution partners and other Amazon teams to ensure seamless integration of content across distribution channels.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Drive innovation in how we reach underserved students and create high impact partnerships. Develop and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and scale for us as well as our partners.
Successful candidates will build a vision and execute a roadmap that leverages both existing distribution channels and identifies new opportunities to reach underserved students. Your work will transform how Amazon uses our educational content to inspire students about AI and technology careers.
About the team
Amazon Community Impact's Education program is one of Amazon's priorities for Global Community Impact where we build products and programs to drive impact on societal challenges. Our mission is to help underserved students discover and prepare for careers in a workforce increasingly shaped by AI. The K-12 Education team operates across the US, the UK, Germany and India, scaling Career Tours in four countries while developing new initiatives to bridge the digital divide.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and executing online customer experiences
- Experience in customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services
- Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions
- Experience creating reports, interpreting metrics and driving overall insights or analysis
- Experience in education technology, educational partnerships, US K-12 education systems, working with underserved communities or schools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
