What You Will Be Doing
The MES Systems Analyst is a DevOps-focused IT role supporting automotive manufacturing by deploying, maintaining, and enhancing MES-related systems. The position requires expertise in C#/ASP.NET, databases, and troubleshooting, with daily collaboration across production teams and stakeholders to ensure system uptime, streamline processes, and support next-gen vehicle production. Responsibilities include system monitoring, patching, disaster recovery, and training MES Technicians, while ensuring high availability and performance of MES, IQIS, and PEMS platforms.
+ Application & Database Development : Design, modify, test, and deploy C#/ASP.NET applications; create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support MES systems.
+ System & Hardware Maintenance : Configure and maintain servers, workstations, VMs, scanners, printers, mobile devices, PLC interfaces, and backups; install hardware/software in production and data center environments.
+ Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Use tools like SNMP, What’s Up Gold, vRealize, and VNC to monitor systems; debug code, analyze logs, and create incident reports to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.
+ Collaboration & Support : Act as SME for MES subsystems, support MES Technicians, participate in meetings, and work cross-functionally with IT and engineering teams to ensure production continuity.
+ Documentation & Continuous Improvement : Document system architecture, conduct feasibility studies, test system changes, review peer work, and propose enhancements to improve MES system stability and functionality .
Basic Qualifications
+ Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience, with 7+ years in C# (WinForms/ASP.NET) and SQL
+ Technical Proficiency : Skilled in C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, AJAX, IIS, Windows Server, SQL, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Office
+ Core Competencies : Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and project management skills essential for supporting and enhancing manufacturing systems
Preferred Qualifications
+ 3+ years of experience in MES and system administration
+ Experience with SCADA, Oracle, PL/SQL, PLC, Android, Linux, VMware, Active Directory, MES, and PGL.
Salary Range - $79,000 - $112,959
