Job Title: Traffic Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to lead and support the production of traffic engineering design deliverables. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative transportation solutions, analyze traffic data, and develop models to support planning and design. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and support the production of traffic engineering design deliverables.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative transportation solutions.
+ Analyze traffic data and develop models to support planning and design.
+ Prepare technical reports, plans, and specifications.
+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited university.
+ Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee, or ability to obtain Tennessee PE within 6 months.
+ Minimum 5 years of progressive traffic/transportation engineering experience.
+ Civil engineering expertise.
+ Proficiency in Microstation.
+ Experience in highway and roadway design.
+ Experience in transportation engineering and design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification preferred.
+ Experience working on TDOT projects is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
