    We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team and support a significant water tower replacement project in PG County, Maryland. This role involves working directly from the field in a site trailer, providing vital support to the project which is set to last for 18 months.

    Responsibilities

    + Act as the main point of contact on-site for the general contractor side.

    + Coordinate with subcontractors and owners on site.

    + Manage all project documents, including handling submittals.

    + Oversee project site safety and document any incidents.

    + Conduct progress meetings and ensure effective subcontractor management and communication.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in project management and construction management.

    + Experience with construction documents and subcontractor management.

    + Ability to handle requests for information (RFI) and change orders.

    + Strong skills in project engineering and coordination, particularly in commercial construction.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Extensive experience with contract documents, especially submittals.

    + In-depth understanding of site safety policies and procedures.

    Work Environment

    The role requires working directly in the field on a construction site, based in a project site trailer. You will report to a Project Manager in the office and work alongside a foreman and superintendent supporting the self-perform team.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, Maryland.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
