    Job Title: Designer/Drafter

    Job Description

    The Designer/Drafter will be responsible for completing drawings in AutoCAD, which will be developed into detailed fabrication sheets for the production of commercial railing products.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and complete drawings using AutoCAD.

    + Create detailed fabrication sheets for production purposes.

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and quality.

    + Travel to local job sites as necessary to gather information and ensure design feasibility.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-5 years of professional experience with AutoCAD.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

    + Experience in drafting or designing for structural, construction, framing, or similar industries.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Mechanical or structural design experience is advantageous.

    + A strong desire to grow into a senior role within 2-3 years.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves traveling to local job sites as necessary to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, New Jersey.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
