Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Drafter with 0–3 years of experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in civil drafting and design. The Civil Drafter will assist in preparing technical drawings and plans for infrastructure and land development projects under the guidance of senior engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Create and revise detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.

+ Assist in the preparation of site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and roadway designs.

+ Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and notes to produce accurate construction documents.

+ Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.

+ Maintain organized drawing files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Perform basic calculations and quantity take-offs as needed.

+ Support field teams with drafting updates based on site conditions or redlines.

Qualifications:

+ Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.

+ 0–3 years of experience in civil drafting or a related role (internships or co-ops count!).

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is a plus.

+ Familiarity with civil engineering concepts such as grading, drainage, and utilities.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

+ Exposure to GIS, Revit, or other design tools.

+ Basic understanding of local codes and standards.

+ Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
