    Job Title: Assembly, Integration & Test Technician

     

    

    Job Description

    We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will engage in assembling spacecraft hardware, conducting soldering and PCB inspections, building harnesses, testing components and assemblies, and overseeing spacecraft through environmental testing campaigns.     Responsibilities

    + Assemble spacecraft hardware and perform soldering and PCB inspections.

    + Build harnesses and wire connectors.

    + Test components and assemblies.

    + Follow spacecraft through environmental testing campaigns.

    + Operate torque wrenches and similar tools to meet product specifications.

    + Obtain IPC certifications for wire harnessing and soldering assemblies.

    + Install project-specific sensors such as thermistors and accelerometers.

    + Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems in collaboration with engineers.

    + Read and follow drawings and written instructions.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.

    + Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and harness building.

    + Experience with electronics testing and board repair.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    + Experience with cad software, soldering, and harness fabrication.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with Visio, Excel, and/or CAD drawing software.

    + Experience with fabrication and testing processes.

    + Experience in non-conformance resolution.

    + NASA certifications for soldering, crimping, and harnesses.

    + Experience with vacuum chambers.

    + Good time-management skills.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in a cleanroom environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a 13-foot ladder. The team operates as part of a smaller company with 120 employees, known for its innovative approach akin to the 'Tesla' of Propulsion Systems for Satellites. The company offers 2 weeks of PTO, which can increase to 3 weeks based on experience, a 401k matching program, full benefits including education reimbursement, and is closed from Christmas to New Year's.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Littleton, Colorado.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
