    Supplier Quality Engineer

     

    We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Farmingdale, NY. This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys cross-functional collaboration. You’ll be the key liaison between departments and program teams, driving quality assurance and reliability across the product lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Act as the primary point of contact for Program Teams on all Product Assurance activities.

    + Develop and implement quality procedures and monitor program budgets.

    + Support proposal development and communicate requirements to team members.

    + Conduct detailed contract reviews to determine quality assurance needs.

    + Generate and track internal and supplier Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

    + Establish and maintain metrics for performance tracking and reporting.

    + Present program status updates to management and customers.

    + Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the floor.

    Must-Have Skills

    + CAPA, Audit, Root Cause Analysis

    + AS9100, ISO 9001

    + Quality Control & Engineering

    + Testing & Troubleshooting of Electronic Components

    + Use of Oscilloscopes and Multimeters

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    + Quality Assurance & Management Systems

    + Corrective Action Plans

    + Experience with electronic manufacturing environments

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical)

    + 2–5 years of related experience in a quality engineering role

    + Strong communication skills across technical and management levels

    + Willingness to travel occasionally (overnight stays may be required)

    Work Environment

    + Hands-on role on the manufacturing floor with access to benches and testing chambers

    + Collaborative team setting with support from leads and supervisors

    + Training provided to ensure success and knowledge transfer from retiring team members

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
