Job Title: EstimatorJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for manufacturing component parts and assemblies. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to outline materials needed to efficiently move a job through the shop.

Responsibilities

+ Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates.

+ Outline and determine materials necessary for manufacturing processes.

+ Engage in consultations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates.

+ Participate in daily customer interactions to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in welding products.

+ Proficiency in creating quotes and estimates.

+ Strong client interaction and communication skills.

+ Knowledge of steel and manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with welding symbols is advantageous.

+ Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

+ Experience with welding, mechanical, and blueprint reading is beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
