    Hiring an Asbestos Investigator/Inspector for NYC Projects!

    Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of experience in Environmental Science

    + NYCDEP Investigator license

    + NYSDOL Inspector license

    + Hazmat certification

    + Environmental Inspection Experience

    + Report Writing

    Description

    Perform investigations and/or prepare inspections reports along with other environmental related duties as needed

     

    Prepare inspection reports

     

    Review construction drawings and scope of work

     

    Survey and sample suspect asbestos containing materials within the NYC metro area buildings

     

    Submit bulk samples to labs

     

    Prepare reports on each investigation including ACP-5 Forms if applicable

     

    Recordkeeping of required documents to comply with NYC DEP regulations

     

    Move about indoors and outdoors to conduct inspections

     

    Ability to ascend and descend stairwells

     

    Manual dexterity and coordination to manipulate field equipment and collect samples, using fingers in repetitive motion for keyboarding and writing

     

    Handle paperwork and files

    Work Environment:

    + Performing site investigations, report writing, project management, and occasional inspections

    + Travel throughout the 5 boroughs

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Long Island City,NY.
