    Description

    Role and Responsibilities • Prepare and lead customer and third-party audits. • Design and implement quality control systems and procedures • Help develop and implement product testing protocols by understanding customer requirements and translating into process documentation. • Monitor site performance to ISO, FDA and food safety quality programs. Share findings with site management and help develop effective corrective actions. • Develop, train and in some cases perform quality testing procedures. • Understand customer requirements and implement into internal quality procedures and documentation. • Oversee quality investigations to identify, and document, root cause and corrective actions. • Track and report key quality performance indicators. • Identify and assess various problems and departures from established manufacturing standards. Research and recommends solutions. • Customer product certification (COA) reporting duties. • Develop and implement web-based quality check program using existing shop floor software. • Statistical analysis of processes for tracking and to aid decision making. • Performing regular quality control audits to ensure vendors continue to work in compliance with company and federal standards. • Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. • Develop, and implement, check-sheets in the Nulogy operation control and collaboration software • Check and sign off on production line first articles. • Conduct mock product recalls. • Other activities as needed. Additional Notes Food FDA food safety, medical device and/or tobacco product compliance experience is a plus.     Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent work experience. Preferred Experience/Skills 3+ years relevant experience in a professional environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with use of statistical analysis software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Customer interaction and excellent customer relations skills are important. Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills. Be able to communicate effectively.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
