Construction Inspector

Seeking a Construction Inspector. In this role, you will work on local roadway and utility construction projects. This position has strong opportunities for growth and advancement as we continue to expand our municipal engineering services Wisconsin. We encourage highly motivated technicians that have a strong interest in advancing in transportation engineering and construction inspection to apply. Projects are typically located in southern Wisconsin, so we are flexible on your home location.
Responsibilities
+ Perform inspection duties on construction projects for local municipalities.
+ Perform materials testing and maintain comprehensive documentation.
+ Conduct field measurements to monitor progress and quality.
+ Complete construction closeout documentation.
+ Establish strong relationships with staff and local municipalities.
Qualifications
+ Associate degree in civil engineering, construction management preferred but not required.
+ 1+ years of construction inspection experience working with WisDOT, utilities, municipalities, or relative experience.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with project teams.
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tasks.
+ Experience with CADD or plan preparation for civil infrastructure projects is beneficial.
+ Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00/hr.
