    An engineering firm located in Garden City is seeking a Project Manager to oversee aviation fueling projects at JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark airports. This role involves managing both the technical and administrative aspects of small to medium-sized projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage all project communications, including technical and administrative aspects.

    + Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource needs.

    + Participate in developing engineering reports, exhibits, calculations, and designs.

    + Assist with document control activities.

    + Support construction administration services, including receiving, reviewing, and processing RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, and other documents generated by bidders, contractors, and stakeholders.

    + Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings and construction observation site visits.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical or Civil Engineering Degree.

    + 5-10 years' experience or knowledge of project management and construction management.

    + Experience with AutoCAD, fluid mechanics, fluid dynamics, pipeline construction, fuel, pipeline, oil and gas.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + EIT/FE certification is a plus.

    + Background in fuel systems preferred, or experience in power, O&G, industrial infrastructure (rotating equipment, welded piping, tanks, valves).

    + Experience with aviation/airport fuel pipeline engineering.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden City, New York.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $76.92/hr.
