    Job Title: Systems Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong background in developing and maintaining system requirements for an evolving Command & Control, Battle Management, and Communications system.. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mission analysis, use case development, and system modeling.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop use cases and prepare systems engineering artifacts, including definition of Epics and Features to implement customer requested capabilities.

    + Support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, and Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development.

    + Contribute to architectural documentation and system engineering estimates.

    + Author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews.

    + Provide use case development support to junior systems engineering team members.

    + Review technical products and act as a technical interface to working-level counterparts.

    + Work under the direction of various technical leads and product owners, interfacing with team members, management, and government customers.

    Essential Skills

    + Advanced degree with 7+ years' experience or a bachelor's degree with 9+ years' experience.

    + Experience in mission analysis, use case development, and SysML modeling in support of MBSE.

    + Proficiency in Agile Methods and Epic and Feature definition.

    + Ability to generate system/element level functional, performance, and interface specifications.

    + Skills in logical architecture modeling, interface definition, and cybersecurity concepts.

    + Requirements elicitation, derivation, and decomposition to lower-level subsystems and components.

    + Maintenance of system and component baselines in a requirement management system.

    + SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Space Domain and Missile Defense Systems.

    + Flexibility to support various tasks on short notice.

    + Active TS Clearance is desired.

    + IAT Level 2 certification is desired.

    Work Environment

    Work will be performed 100% on Schriever. The role may involve functioning in project leadership roles and representing the organization as a prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $165000.00/hr.
