Description
Process Engineer will: Analyze and evaluate existing processes. Research, design, and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow. Oversee operations and maintenance of facility processes. Analyze and make recommendations on the organization and setup of operations. Oversee implementation of new processes and procedures. Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations. Ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to. If a policy appears illogical, discuss it with the Plant Manager and resolve to either follow or modify it. Ensure accurate process records are maintained, including documentation of process issues, how handled, and impact on production and/or the plant. Evaluate parts or equipment that are disassembled, cleaned, removed, reassembled, and/or replaced requiring routine maintenance such as strainers, valves, pumps, nozzles, and filters for abnormal wear or damage. Ensure employees at the site adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE. Review & revise the PPE matrix when necessary. Manage & track monthly safety training via email & survey monkey. Manage & track OSHA forklift training. Fill in for home site Plant Manager when absent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field. Current state engineering license plus 5+ years of process engineering experience | 3-7 yrs experience in chemical/heavy proces Portfolio of successful project initiatives. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle several tasks simultaneously. Experience managing capital projects (rebuilds, retrofits) Experience developing/updating SOPs & training mentorship and coaching experience Experience working with customers Knowledge: heat/mass transfer, combustion, scrubbing Familiarity with PSM, environmental regs Proficient with process data tools (PI) Strong communication/problem-solving Expertise: high-temp combustion, SO2/SO3 conversion, WHB, absorption Strong knowledge of EPA/OSHA regs Proven leadership and project management

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
