    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team, focusing on the manufacturing and process side of our operations. This hands-on role involves failure analysis, troubleshooting, updating procedures, and working design changes through manufacturing processes. You will also engage in the documentation process and design-focused tasks using SolidWorks.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot issues within the manufacturing process.

    + Update procedures and work through design changes in manufacturing.

    + Follow and maintain documentation standards.

    + Design and implement changes using SolidWorks, focusing on mechanical aspects.

    + Lead the development of technical data packages for new and existing designs.

    + Collaborate with a cross-functional design team to ensure successful first article, test, integration, and delivery to manufacturing.

    + Research, develop, design, and test verified design solutions.

    + Provide support to both engineering and manufacturing during all design phases.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks.

    + Experience in new product development and mechanical design.

    + Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.

    + Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).

    + Ability to use Enterprise PDM (EPDM) in support of 3D modeling tools.

    + 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience with a PhD.

    + Experience with marine product manufacturing and design.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

    + Familiarity with mechanical engineering standards.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $42.50 - $60.00/hr.
