Civil Engineer EIT – Site Development

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Are you a Civil Engineering graduate with EIT certification and a passion for site development? Join a small, collaborative team where your work directly shapes residential communities. This is a hands-on role working alongside licensed professionals and field crews to turn survey data into real-world designs.

What You’ll Do

As a Civil Engineer EIT, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team creating site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and field survey data. You’ll help guide projects from feasibility to final construction documents, while navigating local approval processes and optimizing design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

+ Draft topographic maps, boundary surveys, and subdivision layouts

+ Conduct site feasibility and environmental impact studies

+ Coordinate schematic designs and engineering systems

+ Perform site cost analysis and assist in design development

+ Prepare detailed construction documents

+ Ensure accuracy and quality in all drawings

What You Bring

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

+ EIT certification (passed FE exam)

+ 1–2+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

+ Experience in residential site planning, civil design, and drainage

+ Ability to work independently and manage on-site projects

Bonus Skills

+ Experience drafting residential site plans

+ Familiarity with local permitting and approval processes

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills

+ Flexible hours: start between 7–9 AM, end between 3–6 PM

+ Most team members work 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
