    Hardware Engineer Temporary Role - US CA Sunnyvale

    - About the Role

    We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer for a temporary assignment supporting our innovative hardware projects. This role is designed for contingent workers and independent contractors and is not a full-time employment opportunity. The Hardware Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test hardware components for next-generation products.

    -Responsibilities-

    - Design develop and validate hardware components and systems.

     

    - Collaborate with engineering product and manufacturing teams to ensure project milestones are met.

     

    - Conduct troubleshooting debugging and root cause analysis of hardware issues.

     

    - Prepare technical documentation and reports as required.

     

    - Support prototype development and testing activities.

     

    - Ensure compliance with Metas quality and safety standards.

     

    - Minimum Requirements-

     

    - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field.

     

    - Proven experience in hardware design and development.

     

    - Proficiency with CAD tools and hardware simulation software.

     

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

     

    - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

     

    - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    Top 3 must-have HARD skills: Basic optical metrology basic data analysis skills basic ability to assemble test jigs

     

    Good to have skills: Display driving skills

     

    Years of experience needed: 1-2

     

    Story Behind the Need - Business Group Key Projects: Phoenix program ramping --gt large sample characterization demo to large team failure analysis of NG samples

     

    Is there anything we can share with Candidates to compel them to choose Meta over competitors?: Access to cool products before they are launched behind the scenes view of the product design

    Typical Day in the Role: Characterization demo / user study to large team lab management test jig test-up assembly

    How will performance be measured?: Ability to follow through with tasks independently with basic instructions Keen to learn grow ask questions as needed

     

    Must have skills

     

    Basic knowledge of display optical characterization trouble shooting.

     

    - Basic knowledge of circuit boards processors chips electronic equipment and computer hardware and software including applications and programming.

     

    - Previous experience with developing customized test stations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
