Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Job Description
Your primary responsibility will be to respond to service calls and perform startup and modifications to water and wastewater control systems. You will collaborate with a team to understand the products and establish project schedules.
Responsibilities
+ Travel to worksites daily and support various projects.
+ Troubleshoot PLCs using Allen Bradley systems.
+ Provide customer support and work with various contractors.
+ Offer mechanical product support for equipment such as pumps, lifts, and antennas.
+ Install electrical control panels and run diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
Essential Skills
+ Troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting, particularly Allen Bradley systems.
+ Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and electrical schematics.
+ Proficiency in PLC programming and automation.
+ Familiarity with pneumatics and electronics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate degree in Electronic systems, PLC programming, or a related field.
+ Previous customer support experience.
+ Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs.
+ Understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics and overall mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience with wiring, electrical routings, and knowledge of VFDs.
Work Environment
Enjoy a 4-day work week with 10-hour days. Utilize a company truck, which you can take home, to facilitate your travel to worksites. The company provides all necessary tools and covers expenses for food and lodging during your travels. Expect to travel up to two hours one way and occasionally stay overnight for larger projects. Work weeks average 45 hours but can extend to 55 hours with additional projects. The team operates with a flexible schedule, rotating off days every other week. You will be part of a team of nine, with each technician on call once every nine weeks, including weekends.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
